Workshop Schedule

These workshops will give you a “hands-on” experience to practice the skills you are learning. Each workshop is taught by experienced genealogists, and in the case of the DNA workshops, two well-known, genetic genealogists. In these workshops, you will receive personalized help and leave motivated to continue your research. Each workshop is 80-minutes and costs $20.

Capture, Share, & Preserve Memories Using Your Electronic Device

Learn What Your AncestryDNA Results are Telling You!

Learn how to use the various tools in AncestryDNA such as ThruLines®, a powerful tool to help researchers use DNA matches to find common ancestors--using YOUR DNA results.

Requirement: Please make sure you have a laptop and are able to pull up your AncestryDNA results for this class.

Beyond Ancestry: The Benefits of Testing or Sharing Our DNA with 23andMe and FamilyTreeDNA

While Ancestry soars in sales over the other DNA testing companies, this presentation will demonstrate the benefits & strengths of 23andMe and FamilyTreeDNA.

Requirement: Please make sure you have a laptop for this class and are able to access your DNA results if you have taken a test.
